A useful jewelry QC checklist connects the approved sample to repeatable inspection points. Buyers should define what matters before bulk production instead of waiting until finished goods are packed.
Confirm the approved reference
Keep the approved sample, dimensions, plating color, material direction, stone or enamel reference, logo detail, packaging method, and SKU list together. Inspection cannot be consistent when the production team and buyer are comparing against different references.
Appearance and finish checks
- Shape, symmetry, pair matching, and visible dimensions
- Polishing, surface scratches, glue marks, and sharp edges
- Plating color, enamel coverage, texture, and finish consistency
- Stone, pearl, charm, or decorative-part placement
Function and wear checks
Test earring posts and backs, bracelet and necklace clasps, ring openings, bangle hinges, chain movement, and any adjustable structure. Confirm that components open, close, and sit correctly without avoidable looseness or obstruction.
Quantity and packing checks
Compare the final SKU count with the purchase breakdown, including colors and sizes. Review card direction, pouch or box, SKU label, barcode position, protective packing, inner quantity, carton marks, and any buyer-specific sorting rule.
Request useful pre-shipment evidence
Ask for focused photos that show the inspection point, not only attractive product images. Useful evidence can include finish comparisons, clasp or hinge views, SKU groups, packed units, carton labels, and quantity records. Agree in advance which photos are required and who approves shipment.
VELLITH can organize QC and packing communication around the product category, buyer specification, and order risk so problems are easier to identify before goods leave the supplier side.
